We are a multinational team of regulatory experts in the field of plant protection and biocides providing full regulatory support for the registration of substances and products of biological origin or chemical synthesis across all Europe and in the US. 

About us

The APIS regulatory team consists of regulatory experts with sound scientific background, who are guided by pragmatism, quality services and clients’ satisfaction. Our expertise covers all data requirements for active substances, plant protection products, biocides and biostimulants.

We are based in 

  • Stade, Germany, the home of APIS Applied Insect Science GmbH and 
  • Wageningen, The Netherland, home of APIS Applied Insect Science BV, as well as in 
  • Valencia, Spain, where Applied Insect Science S.L. resides    

Our Services


We can support  you in all the steps required for the approval of new active substances and the renewal of existing active substances and in the (re-) registration of (new) products. Our main focus is on biocontrol products as microorganisms, botanicals, other natural substances and semiochemicals, but we also offer full services for conventional PPPs
